Honestly, I think you missed your ownpoint in a way. If the hybrid advancedQu could behave as they did against humans, then the equally hyper advanced Astro morphs could behave similarly to the qu once they found them

I know there’s already an answer for this, but my personal theory is that when the Q disappeared, they actually found earth and mars, and what they did was not just wipe out the planet but genetically modify everything on the planet and that’s where they were up to the point of when they came back and it just took so long for anybody else to find the earth and Mars that no life was there anymore

I legitimately had no idea Oddworld had so many sapient species.

The Hibernators are my favorite. Their ancestor who realized they were totally doomed when him and his clan were trying to defend their home basically went "welp", went back inside, and fell asleep. Woke up and was like "wow, sleeping is my superpower!".

The Qu strike me as beings that...Don't care so to speak they strike me as "well lets do this and this and see how it works" and if it fails they abandon it on some random backwater planet close enough to the creatures abilties to live and yes i said they don't care but maybe its limited Compassion instead of wiping out whole races genetically molding creatures that fight back or didn't meet the need of the Qu just throwin out thoughts honestly ^_^

Movie idea: After rediscovering old Earth, the Human descendants stumble across information regarding an ancient Human. Armed with this knowledge the Astromorphs decided to experiment by locking their new Qu captives in a maze with the Re-awakened ancient Human. The information about this ancient being is kept in the utmost secrecy. Only the very highest up of Astromorph leadership knows of the file containing information about the ancient one, Fewer still know what aforementioned file contains. Many believe this to be a "tale" or a "conspiracy". All we know of it comes from hearsay and 1 leaked photo of a file changing hands. All that can be seen in this photo is a file changing hands between two Astromorphs. Upon zooming in on the file one can see the words in the Astro language "Top secret, Ancient Being: C. If memory serves me, the Octigi Family is pronounced "Oct-ti-guy," while the Oktigi species is pronounced "Oct-tee-gee." Or maybe it's the other way around I can't recall precisely, but I know there is a difference in pronunciation. Not that I blame you for not knowing, I only know there's a difference from watching other videos about them~
